Buenos Aires – Four young men were apprehended following a brawl at the Quilmes station of the Roca Train line, during which one of the individuals was stabbed and a security guard was injured. Official sources informed the Argentine News Agency that the incident began at the bus terminal, where three individuals started throwing stones. The fight continued into the station's hall and onto the southern platform. Subsequently, four more people entered the scene, one of whom was shirtless and covered in blood, and began throwing stones from the tracks at the other group. In response, Federal Police officers detained the injured individual and requested medical assistance, while staff from Trenes Argentinos managed to apprehend the other three suspects. The remaining assailants threw objects at the station, and one of these items struck a security guard, prompting police to conduct a search that resulted in the seizure of a knife and a pair of scissors. The suspects were transferred to the 1st Police Station of Quilmes, while the stabbed youth and the injured worker were taken to a local hospital. The Justice Department is investigating the incident, and the on-duty prosecutor is determining the charges against the apprehended individuals.
